Welcome to Quilting Curls.
Quilting is an art that has a long history. I always admired the beautiful quilts I would see at peoples homes, county fairs and quilt shows around the area. My mother taught me to sew when I was quite young and I have enjoyed garment construction for many years. Then seven years ago I started working at a quilt shop. Seeing the beautiful quilts ladies designed as they carefully chose from all the light, medium and dark fabrics, inspired me to take up this wonderful art.
It didn't take me long to have a pile of unfinished projects. Quilting on my sewing machine was possible but not as much fun as piecing the tops, so I found myself shying away from any large projects.
For that reason I decided to invest in a long arm quilting machine. If like me you have shied away from large projects or have that large stash of unfinished projects that need quilting, let me be your solution.
